Lisa Anne Porter is an executive leadership and presence coach with twenty years of private coaching experience. Her corporate clients have included Kaiser, Genentech, Gartner, Bristol, Myer and Squib, and Wells Fargo Bank. She is currently the Co-Head of Voice and Dialects at the American Conservatory Theatre where the MFA program is currently ranked third in the nation. She is also a Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley where she teaches public speaking, voice and acting. Her private clients have included business executives, lawyers, doctors, scientists, professors, newscasters, computer specialists, ministers, docents and performers. She was an associate professor in the BFA program at Syracuse University where in her first year of teaching she was awarded one of three campus wide Faculty Inspiration awards. She has taught master classes in acting, dialect, voice and text at Stanford University, San Francisco State University, Shakespeare & Company, The Tepper Center in NYC, Naropa University, Berkeley Repertory Theatre and the California Shakespeare Theatre. She has coached voice and dialect in over sixty professional productions nationwide. She has performed with numerous repertory companies and Shakespeare festivals throughout the country and is a member of AEA, SAG and VASTA. She is a certified Linklater voice teacher. Her B.A. is in Theatre and American Studies from Wesleyan University and her M.F.A. from the American Conservatory Theatre.
