Jessica Berman is a seasoned executive communications, presence and presentation skills coach with an MA in Professional Voice Practice from the Birmingham School of Acting, and an MFA in Voice Studies from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Based in the Bay Area, Jessica coaches actors, business professionals, and private individuals on actor-based approaches to presentation skills and performance, executive presence, speech and dialects, and professional communication for clarity, confidence and expressivity.
With Springboards and privately, Jessica has successfully coached clients in the following areas: Clarity and confidence in professional communication, public speaking and presentation skills, effectively engaging with presentation materials, active listening skills, strategies for relationship building, question-handling tools, and developing a personal presentation style. More specifically, she has coached within the professional services and consulting environment with an emphasis to client presentations for remote and in-person settings, communicating internally and externally to multiple audiences, keeping the big picture, presenting simultaneously to the executive and non-executive, and meeting planning strategies.
In addition to her work with Springboards, Jessica is a voice, speech, and text coach. She teaches at UC Berkeley, Academy of Art University, in A.C.T.’s Summer Training Congress, and works as a dialect coach with professional theatre companies throughout the Bay Area.
